Bryce Canyon National Park
Oh Utah, your are formidable competitor to Colorado with your incredible beauty and natural wonders!
This days adventures had us exploring a true rival (in my opinion) to the Grand Canyon: Bryce Canyon National Park.
Again, we spent most of our daylight hours exploring, between hiking and driving. I highly recommend that you bring the hiking boots and poles, as this park is best appreciated and explored on foot. Yes, you can see a lot from the flat trail at the canyons rim, but the park’s true magic is hiking down in, through, and across. We hiked Sunset Point to Sunrise Point to Queen’s Garden to Navajo Loop, and then the Bristlecone Pine Loop separately.
I cannot tell you how many times that I almost fell because I could not stop looking around instead of focusing on where we were going. Fortunately, I didn’t, but if I had, it would have totally been worth it!
