Yosemite National Park

Dear Yosemite-

You give Zion National Park a run for her money. Let’s play nice and not play favorites. She is my favorite National Park in Utah, and you are my favorite in California.

Thank you. I love you.

We were at the gates of the park at 0700 and eager to go. We took Route 120 in along the river, heading north, and traveled Route 140 out via the mountain.

Our adventures started at the Happy Isles Trailhead, where we did the Mist Trail hike to Vernal Falls to Nevada Falls, and returned via the John Muir Trail. God…dear God…it was an incredible hike. There were deer everywhere!

It was an incredible day. I think that our legs and lungs liked it even more than our hearts and souls!

It was an INCREDIBLE place. Mind, body, and soul fully quenched.
