Last year we ventured to the MD Ren Fest for the first time with my parents, a little hesitant to how we would like it...would it be weird, boring, or what? IT WAS AWESOME! So much so that my dad talked about it for the whole next year and vowed to return. Well, unfortunately, it didn't work out that they could come down at this time (I have no doubt they will be here for it next year), but definitely made time in our schedules to get back there. We met up with my Uncle Neal and had a blast of a time. It is just so interesting and amusing...the people watching is by far the best activity there, but the fair does an awesome job at entertaining and feeding you! This will be an annual activity while we are here.
