We Bought a Condo!??!?

So, we quickly figured out that we were here for the long haul. I was still madly in love with my job after the “new-ness” wore off, and we were loving the Chicago lifestyle. It just made sense that we would invest and buy. Interestingly enough, we also loved the area that we were subleasing in (and didn’t the other neighborhoods that were similar), that we ended up buying a condo only a few blocks away from the apartment!

We fell in love with our condo early on; earlier in the search process than expected, and the sellers didn’t want to wait as long as we did (closer to the end of our sublease), that we ended up buying with 2 months left on our lease. This actually worked out great, because we could do all of the renovations and clean up that we wanted without being rushed or pressured.

And we are 5 full months of living there now, and are more in love with our home every day. It is absolutely PERFECT for us and our lives.

And this is OUR HOME.

You will notice that Adam has a very healthy/obsessive plant obsession happening.
