Mount Rushmore and The Black Hills

Mount Rushmore is located within the Black Hills National Forest, and there really isn’t that much to all of it. While it is in the middle of no where South Dakota, it is it a beautiful drive to get to and leave from. The park and monument themselves are not that time consuming, and you don’t need more then a couple of hours for all of it.

It was a nice little stopover in route from Yellowstone to Badlands National Park, but I don’t think it is an experience to travel to exclusively, or to make huge efforts to get to.
