Washington to Montana
The drive from the west most coast of Washington to our next stop in Montana is a L O N G one. For this reason, we opted to stop at a reasonable half-way point, which turned out to be Spokane, WA. Honestly, this was probably the most surprising stop of the trip, for how unexpectedly AMAZING this little city was. It was a last minute stop, with no plans or expectation other than a meal and a good night’s sleep…and we LOVED it. We were actually a bit disappointed that we had to continue on and could not spend some more time there, and determined that we would return.
We had such a fun afternoon and evening, walking around and exploring their craft food and libation (beer, cider, AND sours!!!!) scene, and connecting with the locals.
HIGHLY recommend: Young Buck Brewing (for their sours!), Whistle Punk Brewing, and One Tree Hard Cider!!!!
The drive across Washington, Idaho, and Montana was breath-taking. We truly live in a beautiful country! Our adventure next landed us in Missoula, MT where we were hosted by and enjoyed a lovely evening catching up with Adam’s cousin Morgan. There really is something to those beautiful Montana skies….
