We have been lucky enough to have both sets of parents down to visit over this month, unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share from the Mayer parents coming down. It was really nice to have them both down and share our MD lives with them, just so they know what is going on in our lives.
The Mayer parents came mid-week so most of their visit was on Adam, but it involved excellent happy hours, meals, farmer's markets, and visiting with other family/friends in the area. The Hoisington parents really had a whirlwind trip involving awesome meals, farmer's markets, a tour of NIH (where I work), hanging out with family in DC, attending the Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ festival in National Harbor DC, and Sail-ebration in Baltimore Harbor. Honestly, it seems the closer we live to home, the more that family is missed...weird right? <3
